Dental implants

Dental Implants

Dental implants are a revolutionary way to replace your tooth. The implant is placed in the jawbone, followed by custom-made dental crowns that look and function like natural teeth!

What to expect during your implant procedure:

  • The appointment will be approximately 90 minutes.
  • The doctor will discuss the anesthetic process prior to your appointment.
  • At this appointment, the implant will be placed, and you may also leave with a temporary crown.
  • Sutures may be placed.
  • At the second visit, any sutures will be removed, and a radiograph may be taken.
  • The third visit will consist of another radiograph and to check the healing process.
  • Depending on the rate of healing, there will be a few follow-up appointments.
  • Once the implant is secure, the permanent crown will be placed and cemented.

Bridges are another fantastic treatment path for people missing one or more teeth. Patients with missing teeth are more likely to develop dental disorders, such as gum disease and temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ).

What to expect during your bridge procedure:

  • Routine anesthetic and preparation occur during the first visit.
  • A temporary bridge is fabricated that will be worn for a few weeks.
  • On the second visit, the temporary bridge comes off, and the permanent bridge is cemented.
  • Please wait an hour to eat after cementation.

Crowns

What to expect during your crown procedure:

  • Routine anesthetic and preparation will occur during your visit.
  • E4D CAD/CAM technology is utilized to produce same-day crowns, which will then be cemented.
  • Please wait an hour to eat after cementation.

Root Canal model

Root Canals

A root canal therapy is a procedure in which the pulp of an infected or injured tooth may be removed and then filled.

A root canal can also include removing all nerve tissue, shaping the empty space to prevent future infection, and restore function. A common reason for needing this type of treatment would result in trauma, such as when there has been damage done to your teeth by decay that penetrates through into the inside chamber where nerves are located.

Root Canal FAQ

Will I experience pain?

Answer blurb
Discomfort is common and can be relieved with over-the-counter pain medication.
Question blurb

What is the time frame for healing?

Answer blurb
The healing process can take anywhere between a few days to six weeks.
